One star for friendly staff. However pilot/flying J needs to revise and upgrade their cleaning methods. Cleaning the shower walls, floors and toilet with the same towels you provide to drivers to shower is disgusting. In your own homes I doubt you're using the same rag you cleaned the toilet with to wash your butt. I doubt it. This location does have attentive staff that's good with greeting and chatting but the showers are a joke. The towels look horrible, stained and smelly. They are wiping the floors with used sweaty towels and rags that's why the showers stink. They just remove all the noticeable trash/hair left behind by wiping it up. Then they rinse then wipe again with smelly towels. This is disgusting and lazy. I was given a shower that had a butt smudge or dirt print on the toilet seat. I knew the guy didn't really clean it because another driver literally just came out of it and handed the stick to the clerk then she handed it to me. After I looked at the shower and saw the filthy stained towels and butt smudge on the seat I came back to front desk to give her back the shower stick. She had the nerve to argue with me and tell me that the #3 stick was up there on the counter for a while. She must have amnesia and forgot I saw the driver with #3 stick come out to turn in the stick. The cleaner didn't clean that shower that quick. Management needs to stop arguing with customers when they complain about restrooms and showers. They need to physically make walk throughs and check that these facilities are really being cleaned and smell fresh like they actually used disinfectant. Instead of using their ear piece to ask their cleaning staff if they cleaned something because they'll just lie and say they did. Even the shower stick was beat up and looked like it been chewed on by dogs.
